You have at least 3-5 years of hands on experience with biomolecular mass spectrometry.
The main tasks of the associate scientist will be hands on execution of complex mass spectrometry analysis, method development, and independent interpretation of complex data sets. Further responsibilities will be trouble shooting, planning of lab-related activities as well as writing of reports and oral presentations.
Our client is an international biotechnology company. You are going to work for a department who is responsible for developing analytical methods that are employed for the analysis and biophysical characterisation of virus based vaccines.
You have a Master degree (MSc) in the field of analytical development or equivalent experience level. You have at least 3-5 years of hands on experience with biomolecular mass spectrometry in the field of protein characterisation. Experience with Thermo Fisher Scientific and/or Waters MS data interpretation software is highly desirable, as is experience in the field of glycomics. In addition, experience working in industry, GMP or at a ML-2+ laboratory or higher are considered advantageous.
Further you have a flexible work attitude and a can-do mentality. You enjoy working in a team that is eager to extend their knowledge of new technologies. Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team are equally important as independent planning and execution of tasks.
