Lab Equipment Specialist
You conduct investigations, collect data, analyze trends and prepare reports for assigned quality processes.
You will plan, schedule, coordinate, track and prioritize all facets of buying, installing and validating (new) lab equipment. You also direct, support and oversee testing efforts and execute protocols for installation, operational and performance qualification testing. You review data, generate documentation and reports. In this role you interact with contract manufacturers. You perform, coordinate and assist in various quality functional areas and maintain expertise. You have thorough understanding of process criteria and regulations and business impact of decisions and actions. You ensure and maintain a state of inspection readiness. You provides quality support for technology transfer and improvement of existing laboratory processes. You provide (standard) definitions, develop and establish quality and data integrity expectations and ensure compliance to those expectations. You improve the quality of systems processes and standards on the site and translate user requirements into technical specifications and systems. You make proposals, write and assist in CAPA plans and Change Controls, own, monitor and give follow up on the implementation and closure of the documentation steps.
Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry or comparable. You will need minimal 3 years’ experience with Project Lead type role. Project management skills and interpersonal skills, engaged in contact with personnel at all levels within and outside the organization. Must be proficient in English, Dutch is a plus. Planning skills, ability to prioritize multiple commitments. Able to take the leadership role to coordinate the initiatives and to ensure deliverables are met amongst the different site departments without hierarchical context.
You have analytical thinking and (technical) problem solving skills. Lean or Six Sigma experience is desirable. Must have lab affinity and Pharma background is a plus. You are pro-active, able to work independently, you take action in the absence of specific instruction and can write protocols or reports, business correspondence and procedures.
